160-lb dog with injured paws carried down Saddle Mountain Trail

CLATSOP COUNTY, OR – A large dog had to be helped down a trail in Clatsop County last week.

Officials with Cannon Beach Rural Fire Protection District helped a 160-pound Great Pyrenees down Saddle Mountain Trail after he developed raw/cut paws and refused to continue walking with his owner. Rescue crews used a stretcher to assist him. His current condition is unknown.
