DERBY, VT – Who let the dog out? People all over the internet have been wondering what happened to a dog in the Northeast Kingdom unfortunate enough to get a bucket stuck on its head.
A dog named Bucky was found with a bucket stuck on his head, causing widespread concern among animal lovers.
Paul Patenaude, who spotted the dog while riding his four-wheeler, sought help through social media to rescue the animal.
After an eight-day search by Derby Animal Control Officer Renee Falconer and her team, and with help from Rob Russell and his drone, Bucky was finally rescued using a trap. He is now recovering and will be up for adoption once he’s healthy.
