PHOENIX, AZ – Dorothea, a 10-year-old Chihuahua mix rescued from a Valley canal in June, has found a forever home.
The dog was discovered by a Good Samaritan floating on a shopping cart, leading to her rescue by the Phoenix Fire Department and Arizona Humane Society.
After being dehydrated and infested with ticks, Dorothea received about a month of treatment and dental care before being adopted. She is now happily living with a family in Youngtown.
