FOUNTAIN HILLS, AZ – Zipped up in a cooler and stuffed in a plastic bag. That’s how a cat was abandoned outside an animal shelter in Fountain Hills over the weekend.
It happened early Saturday morning. A woman walking her dog on Avenue of The Fountains strolled past Fearless Kitty Rescue. Her husky, Koda, beelined it toward a zipped-up cooler that was stuffed in a plastic bag. Koda kept sniffing at it until her owner opened it up and found a black cat inside — alive.
