BROOK PARK, OH – A kitchen fire could have a family out of their home for six to eight months, and the culprit is so surprising, you need to see the video to believe it.
Homeowner Chris DiLuzio received the alarming news while at work, but fortunately, no one was home at the time.
Security camera footage shows the family’s French Bulldog, Harvey jumping onto a chair to grab food from the stove, inadvertently turning on the oven and starting the fire.
Though the pets and insurance are taken care of, the family lost irreplaceable items and will face months of living elsewhere.
An online fundraiser has been set up to help with their expenses during this period.
