Flying dogs to their forever homes

Jackson, WY – Peter Rork has loved dogs ever since he was a boy. He began his rescue flights in 2012, co-founding the non-profit Dog Is My CoPilot.

To date, Dog Is My CoPilot has flown more than 15,000 animals – mostly dogs, with a few cats thrown in. “The mission is stated to fly or transport the dogs from the areas that have a high euthanasia rate to areas that will never put down a healthy animal,” Rork said.
