ATLANTA, GA – Asher, a comfort dog, has joined the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles and the Georgia Office of Victim Services.
Along with his handler, Mandy Kimner, Asher has completed months of training and is now ready to assist crime victims, attend community events, and support disaster response and recovery efforts. The Georgia Parole Board is the first in the U.S. to implement a comfort dog program.
