SAN ANTONIO, TX – An elderly man in his 80s was killed and two other women were hospitalized following a severe dog assault on the West Side of the city of San Antionio.
The incident happened just before 2 p.m. in the 2800 block of Depla Street. Firefighters forced to use pickaxes and metal poles to fight off the savage animals.
San Antonio Fire Chief Charles Hood stated that all of the victims were transported to University Hospital.
The owners of the dogs may face charges while the canines involved are in the custody of San Antonio Animal Care Services and will be kept in kennels for now.
