The two-and-a-half-year-old Piglet has become a model for ‘positive growth’ for children. His dog mom Melissa Shapiro rescued him from an overcrowded litter of 37 puppies in a Georgia hoarding facility in March 2017. The deaf and blind puppy has 120,000 followers on Instagram. Any income Melissa makes online goes to a special needs animal shelter, so far $30,000 has been raised by Piglet’s various ventures.
