‘Peace of mind in a jar’: Bloodhound K9 helps locate missing at-risk people

JOLIET, IL – K-9 Liz is Will County’s first bloodhound specially trained to locate people by their individual scent using pre-collected articles as part of the sheriff office’s scent preservati.

The Will County Sheriff’s Office added K-9 Elizabeth “Liz” to its K-9 team this week. She will be a big help in tracking down missing people with Alzheimer’s and autism.
