WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita Police Department officers found a 3-month old rat terrier-chihuahua mix in a crate covered in dust from nearby construction last September.
Captain Kevin Kochenderfer officially adopted the puppy in October 2020. Now the puppy becomes the therapy dog for residents who come into the police department for various reasons.
