‘Worst cases of neglect I’ve ever seen’: Reward offered in case of severely emaciated dog

dog -abuse-BostonThe dog, an approximately 1-year-old pit bull mix that staff have been calling “Glitch” — weighed only 15 pounds — 35 less than a healthy dog its age. He was found near the Massasoit Community College campus (Brockton, MA) brought to MSPCA’s Angell Animal Medical Center on July 30.

The MSPCA’s Law Enforcement Department has opened an animal cruelty investigation and is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to a conviction. Anyone with information that may help the MSPCA identify who owned the dog is urged to call the MSPCA’s hotline at 800-628-5808.
