MONROE COUNTY, MS – Three missing children were safely found thanks to K9 Charlie, a member of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks’ K9 Unit.
On Thursday, after the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department reported the children missing at around 2 p.m., K9 Charlie and Officer Starling were called in for the search. By 4:15 p.m., using a piece of the children’s clothing, Charlie successfully tracked them down in a nearby wooded area within 15 minutes.
