French bulldog that fell down cliff rescued by Port Authority unit in New Jersey

Alpine, NJ  – Port Authority officers jumped into action to rescue a French bulldog that had fallen down a cliff in Palisades Interstate Park in New Jersey.

On Tuesday morning, the Emergency Service Unit was called to the George Washington Bridge. Officer Nicola quickly located a dog named Klipse on a cliff.

With Officer Kuchie, he rappelled down using a rope rescue system and, with an animal snare and K9 harness, safely lifted Klipse back up. The dog was unharmed.
