WISE COUNTY, Va. – Authorities in Virginia thought one of their K-9′s working days may be done when he lost a leg to cancer. But not only did he bounce back, he’s doing better work than ever.
Boone, a 1-year-old bloodhound K-9, is one of the most popular members of the Wise County Sheriff’s Office.
“That dog is just motivated and has the abilities to just get a track and go straight to it,” Sheriff Grant Kilgore said.
