CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – A dog that was found in bad shape in North Carolina is about to have her whole life changed here in Chattanooga, and it’s all thanks to 2 non-profits.
Kerrie, a stray Maltese found in poor condition, was flown all the way to Chattanooga Wednesday so she could have a second chance at a better life.

Gainesville, FL – The first dog to undergo life-saving open heart surgery in the U.S. is expected to live, after receiving the inaugural operation at the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
