Akron, OH – This Mother’s Day weekend, Akron Children’s Hospital is recognizing a different sort of mother.
This mother hen, err, dog has looked over and calmed countless patients over the years at the hospital as part of its Doggie Brigade.
And this particular story comes full circle as Faith is a mother herself and the hospital has just posted a video about this special canine.
Like any mother, we’re pretty certain Faith is proud that her son Memphis is following in her paw prints as he becomes a member of the Doggie Brigade sponsored by Milk-Bone™. There’s also a more than a little pride, and a lot of love, when Doggie Brigade handlers Wendy Sawyer and Jeannie Bussey talk about their canine kiddos.
