SAN ANTONIO, TX – Brooke Army Medical Center shared the news about a special ceremony taking place at 1 p.m. on Monday.
Inside Putnam Auditorium, BAMC’s facility dog, Budd, was commissioned to the military rank of Major.
BAMC also shared a link to how facility dogs play a vital role in recovery for patients across the military health system.
The ceremony was livestreamed on BAMC’s Facebook page.
