Camby, IN – Dixie is a therapy dog, an actress, a model, deer tracker and a friend to veterans, kids and everyone.
Calvert, a truck driver, is not sure what his life would be without this best friend. Dixie joined Calvert at his home Camby, Indiana, home as an 8-week-old pup. After a year of training, Dixie began doing therapy work.
Calvert wanted her to learn a pose that would show respect for the veterans. So, he taught Dixie to pray, bowing in the downward dog stance.
