LAKEWAY, Texas – A woman in Mexico risked her life to save a dog left for dead by the cartel.
The dog had been shot six times, hit by a car and left to die on the side of a highway taken over by the cartel. Driving into cartel territory on a stretch of highway, Garcia drove home with the spike still stuck in her tire.
