Dogged Determination To Rescue Pair of German Shepherds Left On Hwy. 50 Mountainside

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. – A pair of German Shepherds were dumped near Bridal Veil Falls on a steep mountainside that made finding them and helping them difficult.

The two dogs were able to survive for at least two weeks on their own before animal control officers put together a creative plan to capture them. They are recovering after a rescue mission by the El Dorado County Animal Services Office.
