Eleven German Shepherd puppies in recovery after being left in the woods

HENRY COUNTY, Va. – Henry County Animal Control rescued eleven German Shepherd puppies from the woods March 5.

The two litters were covered in ticks and malnourished, and some of them had worms and parasites.

Virginia German Shepherd Rescue took in nine of the puppies and two were adopted. Once the puppies with the rescue reach full health, they will be up for adoption.
