Endicott College welcomes Gary the comfort dog to help students in crisis, dealing with trauma

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott College is welcoming a new comfort dog to help the campus address the national mental health crisis in young people.

A standard poodle, Gary is one of several recent changes Endicott has taken to help students with mental health. The school said Gary will offer a calming, comforting presence for all students, in particular, students in crisis.
