LANSING, MI – For the first time in a decade, a Michigan dog has tested positive for rabies.
A 6-month-old dog in Detroit recently tested positive for the disease. The dog had never been vaccinated against rabies.
It has become the first in Michigan since 2011 to test positive for rabies, state health officials announced Friday, May 21.
