FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office honored Corporal Pendolino, Deputy Rae and K-9 Rex for their heroic efforts in a ceremony on Thursday.
K-9 Rex was presented the Medal of Valor.
Pendolino and Rae earned the Meritorious Service Award.
Pendolino also earned the Purple Heart Service Award.
