From rescue to rescuer: abandoned dog being trained for search and rescue

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind.  – An abandoned dog that was found tied to a tree in Johnson County a couple of weeks ago. We have updated this story with new information. 

White River Township Fire Chief Jeremy Pell adopted  “Roadie” who was found with a heartbreaking note from her owner. 

Chief Pell adopted “Roadie” and renamed her “Rosie.” Now Rosie not only has a new home, she also has a new job.
