BOULDER, Colo. – Following this week’s mass shooting at a grocery store in Boulder, Colorado, dogs are offering comfort to those mourning the victims at a makeshift memorial that’s growing at the scene.
“We’re not counselors and we don’t do a lot of talking, we’re just with them and present in the state and in the grief that they’re dealing with and the dogs are the comforters.” K-9 Crisis Response Coordinator said.
