PIMA COUNTY, Ariz. – A K-9 was sent into a commercial yard to locate a suspect, but was killed in the process, authorities said.
Pima County Sheriff’s Department deputies from the Rincon District and deputies from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department K9 Unit, were searching for a subject in connection to an armed robbery. The subject was seen entering a commercial yard and a K9, named Kenzo, was sent into the yard to locate the suspect. But he didn’t come back alive.
