REDDING, Calif. – The lawn outside the Redding Civic Auditorium was covered in gold as close to 200 golden retrievers gathered for Golden Palooza.
Founders of Golden Palooza said the tradition started back in 2016 starting with only seven dogs as a play date.
They explained they wanted to create an event that not only showcases their love for golden retrievers, but also offers people resources where they can foster and make more goldens feel loved as well.
