GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO – A Colorado police officer and K-9 partner brought relief to a family whose 85-year-old relative was missing after finding the woman clinging to a tree.
Body camera footage showed Greenwood Village K-9 Officer Mercury and Officer Austin Speer looking for the woman on May 3. She had been reported missing for two hours.
As the duo made their way through a grassy, partially wooded area, the K-9 officer paced faster as it picked up the woman’s scent and eventually led Speer to her.
