MILLVILLE, NJ – Once considered a throwaway dog, Millville Fire Department’s K-9 Hansel is one step away from the 2021 American Humane Hero Dog title.
K-9 Hansel is the first pit bull certified in accelerant detection in the United States. The four-footed arson investigator is one of seven finalists to be honored at the Hero Dog Award gala set for Nov. 12.
