BOSTON, MA — A beloved four-legged member of the Boston Red Sox family has died at the age of 10.
Drago, a German shepherd, was the service dog for groundskeeper Dave Mellor. Drago helped Mellor navigate his post-traumatic stress disorder from being struck by a car twice when he was younger.
Mellor posted on Instagram that Drago suffered a stroke, “but enjoyed the sunshine and Fenway until his last moments.”
