A golden retriever, was 13 when he died Tuesday in Burlington, according to Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities, a service dog training organization that places dogs with veterans.The service dog was the subject of several books by an Iraq war veteran who suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder.
