EL PASO, Tex. – Astro, an American Pit Bull Terrier, received all the attention Friday afternoon as Texas’ El Paso Fire Department and El Paso Animal Services joined to award the pooch for a heroic act.
Astro was adopted about a year ago. When his owner had a medical emergency, he ran and led a good samaritan to the location, 911 was called. His owner was transported to a medical emergency facility where crews saved his life.
