LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department shared an update Wednesday regarding the K9 officer that was stabbed earlier in the week while taking a suspect into custody.
K9 officer Kimura was reunited with his partner, Officer Bachman, to recover at home after being treated for several stab wounds.
The two LVMPD officers were responding to an incident Monday night involving a knife-wielding suspect that was threatening officers when Kimura was stabbed.
