BENSON, Ariz. – A puppy in a distressing situation was recently rescued by a truck driver in southern Arizona.
On Oct. 20, a driver noticed a puppy near an Interstate 10 exit ramp in Benson with a zip-tie secured tightly around its neck and stopped to help the “cruelly abandoned” animal, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The puppy is now doing well in a foster home after it was rescued earlier this month in southern Arizona.
