Watch ESPN Dog Day “Bark in the Park” on August 26

The Dogs Are Back! August 26 Becomes ESPN Dog Day.Orlando, Fla. – Celebrating International Dog Day, ESPN will “raise the woof” with ESPN Dog Day, a full evening of dog-related programming on Thursday, August 26, including dog action sports and an airing of the classic Disney film Turner & Hooch, starring Tom Hanks.

A half-hour Disney-themed American Kennel Club (AKC) Meet the Breeds® will kick off the evening at 6:30 p.m. ET on the ESPN App, followed at 7 p.m. on ESPN2 with ESPN Bark in the Park.

What to Expect

Over 90 dogs will compete in a variety of events including Diving Dogs, Weave Pole, Flyball, and Agility. Have a favorite dog from a Disney movie? The Disney-themed Meet the Breeds will highlight several of these dogs, including the Dalmatian, Cocker Spaniel, and more.

Following the streaming of Bark in Park on ESPN2 from 7 – 9 p.m., the movie Turner and Hooch will air at 9 p.m.
