Geauga County, Ohio – The world’s smallest police dog and his crime fighting sheriff partner have died on the same day within hours of each other.
Retired Sheriff Dan McClelland and his beloved police dog Midge, 16, both died on April 14.
Midge, a drug-sniffing Chihuahua terrier, joined him at his side in 2006, which is when the pup entered the Guinness World Record book as the smallest police dog on the globe.
