2019 ASPCA Kid of the Year: 10-Year-Old Boy Raises Over $150,000 To Buy Bulletproof Vests For Police Dogs

Strongsville, Ohio – Brady Snakovsky has vested dogs in 19 states and, in recognition of his important efforts, the 10-year-old boy  was recently named ASPCA Kid of the Year 2019.

Each vest is over one thousand dollars.  After learning that police dogs weren’t guaranteed access to bulletproof vests because of the high costs of the vests, Snakovsky decided to raise funds for them himself. He has raised more than $150,000 to buy bulletproof vests for police dogs. There are 134 police dogs  have received vests and can perform their important work under much safer circumstances.
