This is the incredible moment a hero gardener risks his life to save a terrified dog swept off an overflowing dam into raging rapids in South Africa.
Scamp the dog had tried to follow his owner across a watery causeway in KwaZulu-Natal. He was swept away into surging rapids and clambered onto a rock in the torrent.
Amos Ndlovu, 35, volunteered to save dog, entering water with a rope attached. Watch the video below.
