NIAGARA FALLS, O.N. – A German Shepherd named Pal has been named mayor of Niagara Falls, promising voters unlimited trips to the park and cuddles for all. Pal’s charity fundraising efforts earned this political pooch the honorary title.
Niagara Falls’ mayor Jim Diodati is honouring Pal and his owner Mike Lalicich, for their efforts supporting fundraising for the David Gregory MacKinnon Memorial Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping families affected by kidney disease.
