COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The National Mill Dog Rescue is hosting “Festival in the Bark” this Sunday, Aug. 11!
The event is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at John Venezia Community Park off Briargate Parkways just west of N. Union Boulevard. Organizers say this is a family- and dog-friendly community event.
The National Mill Dog Rescue in Peyton saves about 200 to 300 dogs a month. Their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome discarded breeding dogs while educating the public about the realities of the commercial dog breeding industry.
