CABOT, AK – A Texas family, going more than the extra mile to reunite with their dog who ended up in Cabot, Arkansas.
David Cardenas and his wife Alejandra lost their dog Milo, who was stolen during their move in 2015. Milo had been a loyal companion during David’s Navy deployments and went missing after being left with a family member in Texas.
Nine years later, a call from an Arkansas number brought overwhelming news: Milo had been found thanks to his microchip.
David and Alejandra drove 800 miles to retrieve Milo, expressing gratitude to Little Woods Animal Hospital and Dirt Roads Mutts Rescue for their help.
After his long journey, Milo was finally heading back to Texas with his family, rekindling the bond they had cherished all along.
