Devon, England – A newborn fawn found alone in a field in Devon, England, was taken in by a hiker who thought it had been abandoned.
The fawn, later named Milly, was given to expert animal rescuer Steve Hopper, who cared for her with goat’s milk for the first 10 weeks.
Milly quickly adapted to life with Steve and his two German Shepherds, who accepted her as part of the family.
The dogs and Milly have formed a close bond, playing together and learning from one another. Because of her early contact with humans, Milly cannot be released back into the wild. Instead, she has a permanent home with Steve and his dogs, where she thrives and is well-loved.
