Columbus, OH – Thousands of pups panted and played at Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks’ Inaugural Bark Bash dog festival Saturday afternoon.
The event featured activities such as dog agility shows, paddleboarding with dogs, and a dog beach where pups could swim and play. With around 10,000 to 15,000 dogs and their owners in attendance, the festival also included 80 vendors and various opportunities for socialization and fun.
The Bark Bash, replacing the previous WAG! Fest due to a change in event management, was organized to maintain the tradition of summer dog events in central Ohio. The festival is notable for being free and open to the public.
