Portland, OR – K9 Jacky, a talented explosive detection canine, began her journey at Lackland Air Force Base under the TSA’s guidance, quickly excelling in her training.
Now stationed in Portland, Oregon, she works diligently across three counties in the public transportation system. Jacky’s energetic and playful nature charms everyone around her.
Over her career, she has dedicated over 300 human hours (2,100 dog hours) to ensuring safety at major events like Super Bowl LVII and the Olympic Trials. While she enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest in her downtime, her true passion lies in her work.
Jacky, alongside her handler Officer Charlie Berry, is a contender for the K9 Hero Dog Awards in the law enforcement category-encouraging everyone to vote for her.
