Mr. Piffles, Las Vegas’ most magical chihuahua, dies at 16
LAS VEGAS, NV – It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Mr. Piffles, the magic-performing Chihuahua who brought joy to audiences on the Las Vegas Strip for nearly a decade.
Just days before his 17th birthday, Mr. Piffles passed away, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and love. He performed alongside his owner, Piff the Magic Dragon, and was known for his deadpan humor, which captivated crowds both in Las Vegas and on America’s Got Talent.
Rescued in 2009 from a poor situation, Mr. Piffles helped launch Piff’s career and became an iconic part of the Las Vegas entertainment scene. In 2023, he was honored with the Key to Las Vegas.
To honor his memory, the Flamingo Hotel will open “Mr. Piffles Magical Playground,” a dog-friendly space, on November 13. While we mourn his loss, Mr. Piffles’ magic will live on through his cloned twin, Mr. Piffles 2.0, ensuring his spirit continues to bring smiles.
