MONTCLAIR, NJ – At Montclair State University, the women’s basketball team, the Red Hawks, has a unique addition to their squad: Charley, a golden retriever who serves as the “Director of Pawsitivity.”
For the past two years, Charley has been wagging her way through practices, spreading joy and good vibes like no one else can.
Charley isn’t just any dog—she’s the team’s emotional support superstar. She’s not just there for show either; as the dog of the Special Assistant to the Head Coach, she’s a regular at practices, hanging out in the training room and making everyone smile.
With Charley around, stress levels plummet, and spirits soar. The Red Hawks are off to a 2-0 start this season, with over 30 games ahead, and Charley’s positive energy is sure to keep them on the up and up!
