MIDDLETOWN, CT – Whiskey, the brave Lab-mix puppy who survived a plane crash, is on the road to recovery, thanks to a dedicated veterinary team and generous donors.
The puppy, who was aboard Seuk Kim’s plane when it crashed in Windham High Peak, underwent successful surgery for two fractured hind legs. He is now being fostered at Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center, where he receives physical therapy. However, the total cost of his care could reach $30,000, which is a significant financial burden for the small shelter.
To help cover these expenses, the 15/10 Foundation has pledged to pay $15,000 to $20,000 of Whiskey’s medical bills. The foundation is also seeking donations for Seuk Kim, the pilot who rescued Whiskey and the other dogs. Donations are being accepted for both Whiskey’s treatment and to support Mr. Kim’s family.
