Breckenridge, CO – If you’re a dog lover, especially a fan of Bernese Mountain Dogs, there’s no better way to celebrate the season than at Breckenridge, Colorado’s annual “Berner Fest.”
The event, featuring hundreds of Bernese Mountain Dogs in a festive parade, takes place during the town’s “Lighting of Breckenridge” celebration. It includes dazzling lights, the “Race of the Santas,” and other activities, but the highlight is the Holiday Dog Parade, where Berners march through historic Main Street, some in holiday costumes, bringing joy to all.
People from all over come to witness this heartwarming spectacle, with the next parade scheduled for December 6, 2025. If you have a Bernese Mountain Dog, you can even register to participate for free!
